Today my Bible reading includes Psalm 126.
Psalm 126
A song of ascents.
When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed.
Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy.
Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.”
The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.
Restore our fortunes, Lord, like streams in the Negev.
Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.
Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.
I am encouraged especially by verses
2 Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy.
Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.”
3 The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.
Since we are LJ, and enjoy His grace and hope of salvation, let's fix our focus on our Lord instead of the rain, the study load or worries of tomorrow and trust His strength is sufficient for our day! Pray that the international students will see our Lord has done the miracle in our lives.
Let's hold on it, even sometimes there might be weeping in the night. Pray that our Lord to increase our faith and we will be able to praise Him when the morning arrives.
Let's pray and He will be our helper, as He promises us!
